Dr. DeLizio writes books for teens and young adults and their challenges. These books are based on his experiences while working in an elementary/middle school.
Throughout his teaching career, Dr. DeLizio had witnessed firsthand the essential role that reading plays in the development of young minds. In today's world, where issues such as bullying, peer pressure, and complex relationships can heavily burden our youth, he believes that literature has the power to inspire, comfort, and equip young people with the tools they need to navigate these challenges. His books directly address these critical issues, aiming to empower readers and foster a deeper understanding of faith and resilience.
He also writes crime/mystery fiction based in the Caribbean. These books are based on his travels throughout the islands in the Lesser Antilles.
Dr. DeLizio has earned a Doctorate Degree in Education (Ed. D.), Although retired from teaching, he continues to tutor students in grades 1 - 6, after school and during the summer. He is also an Adjunct Professor at his local community college.
